Saitama

Saitama (サイタマ, Saitama) is the main protagonist of the series and the titular One-Punch Man. He stands as the most powerful being in the narrative. Saitama faces a self-imposed existential crisis, as he is now too powerful to gain any thrill from battle.[7] Initially just a hero for fun,[8] Saitama decides to register as a professional hero with the Hero Association[9] after realizing that nobody recognizes him as a hero. He takes on the responsibility of protecting his home in Z-City from Mysterious Beings, villains, and various threats.[10] After the incident involving the Monster Association and the subsequent destruction of his apartment, Saitama now lives in Hero Apartment 104 at the Hero Association Headquarters in A-City. Within the Hero Association, he is assigned the hero name Caped Baldy (ハゲマント, Hagemanto; Viz: Bald Cape)[11] and currently holds A-Class Rank 39.
